After receiving his medical degree from Johns Hopkins Medical School, Dr. Cadoux began his post-graduate residency training. His residency included training at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Georgetown University Hospital, George Washington University Hospital and at Maryland Shock Trauma.
Dr. Cadoux’s certifications and memberships are vast and impressive. They include but are not limited to being a Diplomat of the American Board of Anti-Aging Medicine, a Fellow of the American College for Advancement of Medicine, a Fellow of the American College of Phlebology, and a Fellow of the American Society of Lasers in Medicine and Surgery. In addition, Dr. Cadoux is board qualified with the American Board of Laser Surgery and a member of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery.

What is Botox® Cosmetic?
Botox® is the brand name for onabotulinumtoxinA, a therapeutic protein derived from the bacterium Clostridium which reduces wrinkles and fine lines by temporarily relaxing the muscle. The most common area of treatment is frown lines of the brow and forehead, though it is also used around the eyes and lips.Botox® works by temporarily reducing the contractions of the muscles that cause wrinkles. By relaxing the muscles, the overlying skin becomes smoother. Several tiny Botox® injections are administered directly into the muscles that cause lines and wrinkles. Your health care provider will determine where those muscles are located.Dr. Cadoux has developed special micro-injection techniques that delivers full strength Botox® more accurately within the desired areas. This reduces the amount of unwanted diffusion, resulting in a more precise effect. For those who desire it, nerve blocks, potent topical anesthetics, and/or icing are available.
